ya’ll, 2010 was an excellent year for music.  a bunch of really standout artists released some fantastic albums last year, and Scuba’s Triangulation was one of the best.  this song, Before, takes hazy synth chords, a breathy vocal sample, and one of the best buildups i’ve heard to make a song that feels both sterile and full of emotion at the same time.  it’s great.  though the rest of the album is also solid, Before takes the cake as my favorite track.  do yourselves a favor and listen, ya’ll; if you’re into to chill electronic, you’ll like Scuba.
