first off— apologies, promises to update more, yadda yadda yadda, ya’ll already know the drill.

now, this awesome song by emerging artist Kuedo is easily my favorite of 2011.  Kuedo’s deubt album Severant is like the soundtrack to Bladerunner in a world where Bladerunner was an actual good movie instead of a failed adaptation of an awesome book.  everything in this album just screams ‘future city at night’, and i for one am totally ok with that.  Whisper Fate is probably one of the stronger tracks, sporting an easy going melody that’s a little mournful, yet also upbeat at the same time.  the drums are tight, the synths vintage sounding, and the overall production astounding— Whisper Fate, as well as the rest of Severant, is a fantastic album with no filler, only back to back audio goodness.  as usual, if you like the song, i suggest you get the album.

this is the music i want playing when i realize that my best friend and co-pilot is actually an android (not replicant!), and begin to understand that yes, machines can love, too.

EDIT:  check out this bro’s tumblr, ya’ll.  if i had any doubts about the sci-fi vibe his music puts out, his tumblr killed them completely.  Kuedo might just be my favorite person of 2011, period.
