and finally, this last song is by that sonic brooklyn duo, Ratatat.  Brulee is such a happy, uplifting song; i’ve kind of made it my unofficial birthday song, as it’s just as positive, reassuring, and uplifting as good birthday should be.  the album, LP3, is one of my favorite electronica albums of all time- i even own a hardcopy.  that’s right.  i do love it that much.
