another great artist, this time found due in part to the great folks over at last.fm.  ya’ll, if you don’t have a last.fm account, then you need to immediately go get one.  i don’t even know how much music i’ve found in part to them- they really do make it easy to find awesome music.

anyway, this song, Gamble, is by Jennifer Lee, aka, Tokimonsta.  i don’t even know what to say-this girl is amazing.  she is doing things with the genre in the vein of great acts like Flying Lotus, Madlib, and Samiyam, all while producing her own unique sound.  it’s more than refreshing, it’s absolutely fucking delightful.  her album Midnight Menu is one big, delicious sampling tray, and i suggest everyone get it, asap.
